Experimented.
Measured. Documented.

Ars Scriptum is an independent technical research and educational studio working in radiofrequency systems, electronics, software, and applied physics. Real research, real hardware, real measurements, shown in full.

The written art

Ars Scriptum is the working studio of Guillaume Plante, a technical architect based in Quebec, Canada. The work spans radiofrequency systems, electronics, advanced software, and the careful technical documentation that the name itself implies: ars scriptum, the written art.

Real experiments, educational content with the measurements, the mistakes, and the reasoning shown in articles and videos that are easy to digest. Everything here is independent and self-directed, aimed at making demanding technical subjects accurate and accessible to anyone genuinely curious.

One studio, one workbench.
Four threads.

01

RF & Electronics

Workbench experiments, signal-chain design, instrumentation and measurement, and the physics underneath. From low-power SDR work to instrumented high-power RF.

02

Software

Systems and tooling, primarily in C, C++, and PowerShell. Build automation, instrument control, and data analysis.

03

Writing & Video

Long-form technical explainers and documented project logs that show the full reasoning, not only the result.

04

R&D

Self-directed applied research projects, characterised and documented end to end.
